Directorate of Open & Distance Learning, Assam Agricultural University (AAU-ODL) has released the official admission notification for various short-term training and certificate courses to be started from December 2025. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online at AAU-ODL official website from 7th November 2025 to 23rd November 2025 for these courses.
The proposed online programmes of AAU covering a wide range of diploma, certificate and short courses are expected to make the career of the learners and the professionals better. The courses are designed in such a way that these can cater to the needs of a wide spectrum of aspiring learners including farmers, entrepreneurs, rural women as well as unemployed youths. The ODL courses will provide knowledge, skill and employment opportunities to all sections of the society as per their need and expectations.

The salient features of various AAU ODL Courses are as mentioned below.
#Classes for each course will be conducted through online. (Google Meet and similar platforms)
#Each course will be conducted under the supervision of a Course Director.
#For each course, the registered learners will have to undergo in-campus practical training for at least 3-7 days for short-term training course and 10 days for certificate course.
#Self Learning Material (SLM) will be provided to the learners.
#At the end of the course certificate will be provided to the learners.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of eligibility criteria as mentioned earlier. List of Shortlisted Candidates will be published on the website odl.aau.ac.in. For final selection the shortlisted candidates need to pay the admission/course fees through online. The link for admission will be shared after publication of shortlisted candidate list.
